November Collections

CS144
I know, I know its mid December and I am telling you about the collections now?

I have been so busy I have forgotten to blog and 2 designers have done some awesome work that I still need to share with you (and I haven’t finished my end of the deal yet…. so the collections with no layouts are the ones I was allocated to do…. Sorry!!)

Firstly:

Tea Break

If you have been dreaming of a soft and feminine collection then “Tea Break” is for you. These colourful pastel papers are sweeter than a cup of sugar and make for a delightful homage to the 1950’s housewife. Playful quotes, retro prints and an abundance of florals add that special ingredient.

Here is what Amber created with the collection:

Cards by Miss Betsy

Next up is:
The Looking Glass
Fall down the rabbit hole and enter the world of “The Looking Glass”. This Alice in Wonderland inspired collection is filled with more colour, quirk and intrigue than the Mad Hatter himself could dream up. Explore your curiosity and pick up this range today.

And unfortunately I haven’t created my layouts yet (although I do have the photos picked out! Its a start isn’t??) So here are some from the Kaiser Design Team:

And finally we have

Garage Days

If you have been waiting for a masculine collection then its time to pick up your tools and get to work. Garage days is here and has more tyres, cars, tools and grease than your local mechanic. Roll up your sleeves and get the job done with this wonderful male collection.

And here are a couple of beautiful layouts created by the very talented Amber.

and from the Kaiser design Team:

Christmas Carnival

Untitled-7a

Hello Everyone!

I would just like to show you some things I made yesterday using Kaisers Q2 Christmas Carnival Collection.

I was a bit stuck with what to give my daughters school teacher as a Thank You for this year, so I started playing around with the Carnival papers and this is what I came up with: (comments will be appreciated!!)
Its a little tote made from 1 sheet of 12″ papers, 2 brads and a strip of paper for the handle. For inside I made a little box out of pink cardstock which will be filled with either chocolates or toffees.
I then made a magnetic shopping list for on the fridge. (using some more of the pink cardstock, piece of ribbon, a couple of rhinestones and a small pad from king kong)

And I made a cover for a packet of post it notes. It has a little loop up the top for a small pencil or pen and I used the Carnival puffy stickers as an embellishment.
With a scrap of the cardstock I had left I made a little holder for either a gift voucher or lottery ticket.

I then decided I needed to make a table center piece for Christmas. Finding nothing else suitable I used the smaller square tissue box cover from Kaiser, turned it upside down, put a bit of cardboard in the bottom to seal the hole and painted it red. After I finished embellishing it, I filled it with florist foam and pushed a candle in. To cover the rest of the green I used some silvery tinselly stuff (sorry forgot the name!!).

Then I made a couple of quick cards:

Tomorrow I will show you what I have been making with the Lilac Avenue Collection.

Hope you have a great day!

Christmas Presents

Untitled-7

Hello Everyone!

For the past week I have been making Christmas Presents for my daughters teachers and some people who are very hard to buy for and have everything already anyway, so I thought to share them with you.
These are fabric covered 6 x 6″ note books I picked up at Target at a clearance price. I’ve had them for over a year always meaning to do something with them and now I finally have.

For the above note book I used the new Kaiser Christmas Carnival paper pad. These paper pads are great! Each pad includes 10 specialty papers (2 x flocked, 2 x spot varnish, 2 x foil and 4 die cuts) as well as 24 sheets of designed paper. I have also used Prima Flowers, our brand of crystal brads and AC Thickers.

For the purple note book I used the Lilac Avenue paper pad from Kaiser, Lilac Avenue Alpha Stickers (with matching chipboard) as well as Prima Flowers, Crystal Brads and Kaiser Adhesive Pearls and Ranger Ice Stickles.

Tomorrow I will show you the candle holder I made using the New Kaiser Christmas Carnival Range of papers.

Hope you have a great day!

Kaiser Tissue Box

tissue-box-001

Last night I was in a creative mood, so decided to make a tissue box cover. It took about 3 hours from start to finish – and my daughter loves it! (as it features her!)

Products used:
Kaiser tissue box large
Imaginisce Papers
Basic Grey Rub Ons
Prima Flowers
HOTP flowers
Kaiser Adhesive Pearls
K&Co Metal embellishments
MM Chipboard
Buzz and Bloom Chipboard Crown

For the scalloped edges I used a Fiskars border punch. (best punch I have ever bought!).

The papers are not listed on the website, as I normally just sell them locally – but I can list them on request. There are 6 papers in the collection.

I wish you all a creative weekend and a Happy Mothers Day for tomorrow!
