New: Prima Sampler Kits

Sometimes (actually quite often!) a customer will come and in and have a very hard time choosing between collection especially as most of us need to stick to a budget. So I decided to split up 4 of the new Prima Paper Pads and flowers and made the sampler packs. The Romantique, Alla Prima and Londonerry are $5.25 each and the North Country one is $6.99 (this one includes a couple of the new Ceramic tiles as well). I have only made a limited amount of each so you need to be quick if you would like one.

Each pack contains 16 sheets of 6×6″ patterned paper (single sided) and 1/3 pack of flowers.

Christmas is just around the corner!

Hi it’s Jen here, I hope I didn’t shock you with that comment, but with November fast approaching, it really is just around the corner.  That means if you make your own Christmas cards and haven’t done so yet, it is time to get  moving!
I have made all of the beautiful cards below (34) in total, all from one kaiser  6 1/2″ paper pad. These pads are great for card making as all pages are colour matched and they also come with die cut shapes and pages that can be used for embellishments. They are sold in store for only $10.99. The collection I have used is called  “the silly season” and it is gorgeous. The only extras  I have used are white card, one  piece of paper also from the same collection called “milk and cookies” and essentials such as double sided tape, a stamp, mounting foam and ink!
Everything can be bought in store. Using the paper pad makes handmade cards very affordable. Once you have finished your cards we would love to see what you have come up with, so post a pic on our FB page and show us how creative you are 😉   And don’t stop at Christmas cards, we have oodles of paper pads to choose from, you are only limited by your imagination, let it soar!

A Special Time Of Year

by Mrs Frizz
A big hello and good afternoon to all our scrapping friends around the world! Although as we share our creativity, it might be that I should be saying a big hello and good morning to you instead of good afternoon!
Hilde, Janna and Michelle have had a wonderful time creating with Kaisercraft’s December 25th collection.
Silent Night by Michelle Frisby
 Materials list :
P715 Faith, PP850 paper pad, stickers sheet, FL363 wooden flourish – Christmas star, PL512 pearl flourish – classic latte.
Extras : corrugated cardboard, distress ink, muslin, punches and Reeves coarse texture gel, flowers, feathers and baubles.
Michelle says:
“My eyes lit up as soon as I saw the gorgeous colours from this Christmas collection, it was always going to be a hit with me and when I saw the collection in real life, I guess you could say I sighed.  What a darling collection – truly traditional Christmas colours!
I used a round corrugated cardboard cake liner, distressed the edge of cardboard, wiped ink all over and then spread a thin layer of coarse texture gel over the ink. I then punched a double layer of strips and used them as edging.

I used a base layer of muslin and layered on top with a variety of wet edged papers from the paper pad.  The Silent Night verse [sticker] has been backed with cardstock and tucked away under the photo and then she has embellished, embellished and embellished a little more.”
Now for Janna’s gorgeous creation:

“Nussknacker” Layout by Janna Werner

December 25th: Faith (9715), Hope (P716), Believe (P721), 6 1/2″ Paper Pad (PP850), Jewels (RS423), Collectables Sticker Sheet (SS109), Alpha Sticker Sheet (SS110)

Janna says:
“December 25th is a gorgeous vintage paper collection with a lot of extras in the collection.  I love using stickers on my layouts and with December 25th you will get a huge range and variety of stickers, including letters, borders and images.
And I have to say being part of an international design team, some of our design team girls around the world are privileged to be fluent in many languages.  I love seeing the written word in a different language on layouts.
And in case you haven’t guessed – ‘nussknacker’ is German for ‘nutcracker’!”

“I love this range of papers. Originally I thought I would make a wonderful chest for my daughters bedroom, and just use the backs of the Christmas Pages, but it looked too wonderful to die a natural death in my daughters bedroom, so I added some Christmas Embellishments and the numbers from the 25 Draw Chest Kit to make the advent calender. I think little hands will really enjoy collecting the goodies they will find in each of these little draws leading up to Christmas Day.”

“Christmas Angel” by Vicki Morris

Vicki says:
“What would Christmas be without a fabulous angel decorating your Christmas Tree.  Here I have cut 1 straight circle and 3 scallop shaped circles and used these as a base for the Angel by layering them on top of one another.  Add two cone shapes for the sleeves and add ribbon around the base and neck.

I have used an old Christmas decoration ball as the head which works perfectly as the tie to hang it on the tree was already on the ball!  As another tip – I have used an album ring and wrapped lace and pearl strips around it to make the halo.  Use feathers and Kaisercraft Wooden Flourish: Wings to make the wings.  Add sparklets and rhinestone strips and your angel is ready to fly!”
