Prima Mini Dolls!

You’ve all heard the saying, “Good things come in small packages!”, right? Today we hope to show you just how true that is! Presenting Julie Nutting’s Mini-Dolls!

Adorable! Cute! Sweet! These wonderful miniatures all come with stunning etched details. With a little loop at the top (which can easily be snipped off) the wood dolls are perfect for tying on a beautiful gift, or stringing on a festive banner! How many different ideas can YOU come up for using them? (Mini-Dolls Jar, 3.5 x 3″, comes with four boys and twenty-six girls.

As I was emptying a few more boxes from our old shop I came across a couple of kits from Janine’s class that she taught here.

So for those that were unable to attend this wonderfully inspiring class – now is your chance to do it at home!

This layout incorporates a LOT of technique and you are guaranteed to enjoy recreating it.

This month we have used the lovely “free Spirit” collection by prima Marketing.

Your kit will include:

1x Sonnet Paper 1x full pack of Frost Frappe Flowers

1x Enlightened paper 1 x Pack of Seam Binding

Besides your basic tools you will also need to use some ink sprays (I used Prima Bloom sprays) and a doily die (I can cut for you if you don’t have it)

Scrapbooking Class – Saturday 20th September

We will be running a Scrapbooking Class on Saturday starting at 11.30 and finishing around 1pm.

Join us for a fun morning creating this beautiful page:

We will be using the very popular Webster’s Pages, flowers, brads and alphabet stickers.

Please bring a good pair of scissors with you as well as a close up photo. I used a 5×7″ one, but you can use a 4×6: one as you can just make the hole a bit smaller. Everything else is included.

This layout suits both Beginner’s and more experienced Scrapbookers.

Costs $10 (includes tuition and kit)

Product Spotlight – Sticky Barc

Have you heard of Sticky Barc? It’s by Express Graphix and its a pretty awesome product!

What is it? Its a self adhesive wood sheets cut ultra thin from real wood. They can be stamped, painted, stained, varnished, inked – pretty much anything you can do with regular paper, you can do with Sticky Barc wood sheets!
